Description
Bring timeless elegance to your home with this handcrafted Tortoise, which is a symbol of stability and good fortune. The Tortoise is embossed with divine motifs like a temple and deities carved on the shell. Miniature temple intricately carved on the shell is elevating the sacred appeal of the object. This tortoise is silver-plated and made from polyresin material. This temple reflects the South Indian temple gopuram Vastu temple with detailed iconography, making it an artistic piece.
As per Vastu, a tortoise should be kept in the North or centre of the house, which will bring positive energy and good luck. This tortoise is also a representation of the 2nd lord Vishnu incarnation – Kurma, who supported Mount Mandara during Samudra Manthan. This piece will add sophistication to your décor, whether it is placed on an office desk or a living room. It is perfect for gifting to your friends and family on auspicious occasions.
Manufacturing Process
- Concept and Model Creation: A 3D model of the idol is first created and then sculpted in clay to prepare the mold.
- Preparing Mold: The master model is used to create a silicone mold that captures intricate details such as jewelry, facial features, and textures.
- Polyresin Casting: Liquid resin is mixed with a hardener, poured into the mold, and left to set at room temperature.
- Demolding: After the resin hardens, the idol is removed from the mold. Excess material is trimmed and the surface is sanded to ensure a smooth finish.
- Painting: A base primer is applied, followed by hand painting using enamel paints. A final silver coating gives it a smooth, radiant shine.
Note
- Wipe the idol with a soft cloth to remove dust.
- Avoid using cleaning agents, as polyresin may be damaged by moisture.
- Keep the product away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration.
- Each product may feature slight variations in colour or craftsmanship, adding to its uniqueness and beauty.
- Images may differ from the actual product in form and colour due to variations in screen resolutions and device settings.
